Details of the apartment
The Résidence Duc de Savoie – 2nd floor – is located in an ancient building with a large entry door. Passed that door an iron gate holds the access to the apartment. The Savoie street is in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés, is calm and has almost no car traffic. At night you will not miss the opportunity to go to one of the numerous “cafés-théâtres” and jazz concerts in the neighborhood.
Up to three people can live in that 20 m2 studio: the mezzanine has an excellent double mattress for two people and the sofa bed is available for a third person. The fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms have been entirely renovated in order to make you feel at home.
This little typical Parisian studio gathers all modern communication means: high-speed wireless internet access, telephone, free local calls and international for some destinations, cable TV and also a mobile phone provided (credits not included. Very useful during your trips inside Paris, you will then be able to reach us anytime for help or advice.
* All costs related to electricity, water and gas consumption, heating, bed linen, unlimited Internet connection, local phone calls (and to some international countries) and/or the mobile phone provided (credits are not included), a selection of tea, coffee, shower gel and shampoo upon arrival, as well as cleaning of the apartment when you leave are included in the total rental cost. Anecdote
When peace came back at the end of the Hundred Years war, Paris' economical and cultural life enjoyed a revival and famous families took up residence in Saint-Germain des Près. Among them was the Duchess of Savoie, who owned the hôtel Savoie-Nemours and gave her name to the street. She hosted many artists and writers who contributed to the renewal of contemporary ideas.
This was my first time in Paris and I loved it. The flat was small but very cozy and warm, and I felt safe. The location was wonderful close to everything.. My son and family stayed up the street. Thanks Vladimir.
